Welcome to the January 16, 2009 edition of workout blog carnival. An update on one of our contributor’s workout efforts, more fat loss and even some detox advice are on the carnival this week. Enjoy!
Ross presents Alkaline Cleanse: The Basics posted at Energise for Life, saying, “A quick start guide to starting a cleanse for your body to detox, replenish and unlock your natural energy” Workoutebooks’ 2 cents: Detox is something you may have heard about. People interested in detoxifying their bodies have several choices to consider. I myself have recently started using detox foot patches. Here is an article on how to do this on your own.
Dr. Davon Jacobson presents The Simple Way to Deal With Back Pain posted at *Health and Nutrition Facts*. Workoutebooks’ 2 cents: as a fan of Tai Chi and Yoga, I’m of the opinion that regular exercising of the back can help prevent back pain. Of course, it is a little late for that if you are already experiencing pain. This article has some things to consider in your search for relief.

Arlene Thomas presents Power 90X - Extreme Home Fitness posted at Product reviews, saying, “Extreme home fitness that really works” Workoutebooks’ 2 cents: this is about a workout program you can do at home. If you are inclined to try working out at home, give this one a look. If you already have a gym membership AND attend regularly :) you may not get much out of this post.

Steve Faber presents How to Lose Belly Fat posted at Belly Fat Loser. Workoutebooks’ 2 cents: ah yes, lose your belly fat…one of the holy grails of exercise! I can’t imagine there are many of you out there that don’t struggle with your midsection. The advice given here is not new, but it bears reading if for nothing else than some reinforcement.

Workoutebooks’ 2 cents: our final two posts for this carnival are from Tristan, who is posting progress updates on an exercise routine. Keep it up, Tristan!
Tristan presents Training Journal: Monday 12th January 2009 posted at Body And Fitness Blog, saying, “A day in my life, following my workout routine, what exercises I do, how much weight I lift and for how many reps.”
Tristan presents Training Journal: Thursday 15th January 2009 posted at Body And Fitness Blog, saying, “A days training session for me, my comments about it and how I’ve noticed that when you are in a bad mood, your training suffers noticeably.”
That concludes this edition. Submit your blog article to the next edition of workout blog carnival using our carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on our blog carnival index page.
